Barcelona is the only European capital wich has over four kilometres of beach where the most up-to-date facilities can be enjoyed and has been one of the main Mediterranean Ports for over 2000 years, actually, the Olympic Marina has become one of the most important meeting points of the new Barcelona wich is now open to the sea.

Probably there can be no better place to get to know Barcelona than from La Rambla, colourful, bustling avenue which is famous for the vivid colours of its flower stalls.

The Gothic Quarter, the nucleus of the Medieval buildings and the Roman fortifications, is located very near to La Rambla, some of our charmings accomodations are located in this historical area, the rooms called "Bon Succes" ,"Fontanella Las Ramblas" y " Volta de la Perdiu ".

Barcelona offers the visitor a route of shops wich is 5 kilometres long.

It starts at La Rambla and the historic centre and goes into the Eixample district via the Plaza Catalunya continuing as far as the Diagonal, the new business centre of the city.

The "Eixample" area is characterized by long straight streets and square blocks with chamfered corners, some parts of this area were influenced by modernist architects.

It is the commercial heart of Barcelona with a high density of professional offices, art galleries, bars, restaurants and shops of all descriptions, the rest of our accomodations are located in this interesting and quiet area.
